Jakes Retreat is located in Buckeye, WV. Named after our family pet, a brown shepherd mix who roamed through the woods along the Greenbrier River all day then rest all evening on the front porch. The log cabin features a custom river rocks fireplace, two bedrooms upstairs with two full size beds in the basement, two full baths, sleeps 8 comfortably, large fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities from leather furnishings, to satellite television. All nestled in the beauty and serenity that can only be found in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. The view is breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. There is something for everyone in every season; from golfing, canoeing, fishing or hiking in the three other seasons to skiing or snowmobiling in the winter.
